You go to great lengths to look sexy, which is why you (after painting the town red) sometimes fall victim to late-night infomercials. (Hence the Suzanne Somers' ThighMaster tucked far away in your closet).
But, you don't have to hide any longer, Miss Thang. It's time to come out of the fitness closet and master those thighs the Lotus Lounge way. Here's a healthy three-step prescription for late-night wellness that will help keep you fit, while having fun. I like to call it Lotus Fitology.

STEP ONE: GO SUSHI
Lotus serves up some of the city's healthiest sushi. In fact, the fish used is a fabulous source of protein. And the salmon gives you fatty acids, which provide energy to your muscles, heart, and other organs, according to Hungry Girl.
Another benefit of Lotus' sushi is the seaweed (Nori) used in rolling the sushi. It is high in vitamin B complex, vitamin C and vitamin A. Pair all of that healthful goodness with the rice used -- which is low in fat and sodium (and just enough carbohydrates for dancing energy) -- and you've got a perfectly healthful Friday or Saturday night meal.

TIP: Carbophobic? If you don't want to add any carbohydrates, just ask your Lotus chef to please deliver your sushi without rice, as sashimi.

STEP TWO: DRINK SMARTLY
Some designer drinks you order at clubs can dish up a whopping 1000 calories each! How crazy is that ... and who needs that?!? Yikes! So, play it smart, as WebMD's Kathleen M. Zelman, MPH, RD, LD, reports.
Order one of the following low-calorie drinks from one of your Lotus mixologists*:
- Cosmopolitan (4 oz): 200 calories
- Chocolate martini: (2 oz each vodka, chocolate liqueur, cream, 1/2 oz creme de cacao, chocolate syrup): 438
- Green apple martini (1 oz each vodka, sour apple, apple juice): 148 calories
- Dirty martini (2.5 oz): 160
- Red wine (5 oz):120
- White wine (5 oz): 120
- Champagne (5oz): 106-120
- Vodka and tonic (8 oz): 200
- Screwdriver (8 oz): 190
- Gin and tonic (7 oz): 200
- White Russian (2 oz vodka, 1.5 oz coffee liqueur, 1.5 oz cream): 425
- Rum and Coke (8 oz): 185
- Rum and Diet Coke (8 oz): 100
Psst, if you are watching your figure, look out for those Long Island iced teas, which are not 1000 calories, but come in at a hot 780 calories -- eeks! And, remember: "You can save 100 calories if you have a diet soda as your mixer," says American Dietetic Association spokesperson Dawn Blatner-Jackson, MS, RD.
STEP THREE: DANCE ALL NIGHT
Now comes the aerobic activity. You can burn some mega-calories while dancing, so make sure you hit Lotus early in the evening and party it up to your favorite hits until closing time -- which will burn anywhere from an average of 960 to 3500 calories (in four hours)!
TIP: Check out this "Calories Burned Calculator" for more info on how many calories you can burn shaking your groove thang!
Lotus Fitology. IMHO, it's just what the doctor ordered. Take my advice, and you'll be laughing at those infomercials, burning lots of calories and saying, "Goodbye ThighMaster, hello hotness!"
Cheers,
KAC ;-)
